Robert Krohl

Rob Krohl was born and raised in Milan, MI and attended The University of Michigan where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in 1998. Following graduation, he attended Jim Evans Academy of Professional Umpiring where his hard work and dedication earned him the honor of receiving a highly sought-after professional contract. Rob spent the next 4 years umpiring professional baseball in the Minor Leagues.

In spring of 2002, he returned home to Ann Arbor enthusiastic to join his father, James Krohl, in the family business at Active Insurance Agency. Before you know it, Rob’s hard work and dedication paid off again as he opened an office in Brighton, MI, expanding Active Insurance into Livingston County. In January 2018, he purchased the business from his father who founded it in 1997. Carrying out the family legacy, Rob continues to serve the businesses and individuals in the greater Ann Arbor and Brighton area with group benefits and individual health/life/disability benefits.
